Going deep into Nature-Based Art Practice | Part 2 Tasmanian Artist Residency | Breakthrough in MFA

This video is the second vlog of the recent artist residency that I undertook in beautiful Tasmania.

Come along with me as I explore in-depth the landscape surrounding me and have a breakthrough in connecting my historical research to my art practice. I get up close and personal with the trees that I look out upon every day and find some new and exciting ways to explore them in my art practice.

This one includes lots of sketching; interesting ways of working with water-soluble wax pastels and water-based oils; and working on both paper and clear-primed natural linen.

I’m excited to do this again and would love your recommendations.
