Please note that all original art and prints ship from Ballarat, Victoria, Australia.
SHIPPING OF ORIGINAL ART WORK
Because of drying time, varnishing and a slew of other operational reasons in my studio, it may take up to two weeks for us to package and dispatch your work to you. Transit time will vary according to where your painting is travelling to.
All gallery-wrapped canvases up to a size of 31 x 31 inches will be shipped in-tact both in Australia and overseas. Paintings over this size going to an Australaian destination will mostly be shipped as is, but will need to be assessed on a case by case basis.
Larger works on canvas over 31 x 31 Inches will be removed from their stretcher bars and shipped rolled in a sturdy tube. This happens for two reasons:
1) It is far safer for a large painting to travel this way (yes, I have experienced the heartbreak paintings being damaged in transit).
2) It is by far the most cost effective way to ship large works. The money you will save on shipping will more than cover the cost of having it re-stretched by your framer.
SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs are calculated at the checkout according to package weight and distance and plus packaging materials. On the odd occasion where the calculation is inaccurate (as shipping costs often change without our knowledge), we may need to contact you via email to arrange additional payment.
AUSTRALIAN SHIPPING CATAGORIES AND PRICES
Australian Small Parcel $15:
This shipping option is for all Prints and Works on Paper. Sizes in this category are A2 (16.53 x 23.3 inches or 42 x 59.4 cm) or smaller. Depending on the size of your purchase and where you live, your artwork or print will be carefully wrapped and shipped either flat in a rigid mailer or rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube.
Australian Medium Parcel $55:
This shipping option is for smaller sized stretched canvases that measure 12” x 16” (31cm x 40.5cm) or below. Artworks will be carefully packaged and shipped via Australia Post in a sturdy box.
Australia Large Parcel $70:
This shipping option is for larger stretched canvases that measure from 16” x 20” (40.6 x 50.8) up to and including those at 20” x 30” (50.8cm x 76.2cm). Artworks will carefully be packaged and shipped via Australia Post in a sturdy box.
Australian Extra Large Parcel $120:
This shipping option is for extra large stretched canvases that measure from 34” x 38” (86cm x 97cm) up to and including those at 30” x 48” (76.2cm x 121.9cm). Artworks will carefully be packaged and shipped via Australia Post in a sturdy box.
Courier TBA:
This shipping option is for extra large stretched canvases that measure from 36” x 48” (92cm x 122cm)to 40” x 40” (101 x 101) or larger. Artworks will carefully be packaged and shipped in a sturdy box via a professional and reliable courier service. Prices for this shipping category are calculated individually and invoiced separately to your purchase.
Any dimensions outside of those mentioned here will be quoted on a case by case basis.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING CATEGORIES AND PRICES (OUTSIDE AUSTRALIA) (Please note that shipping prices have increased due to a global increase in postage prices due to COVID19)
International Small Parcel $55:
This shipping option is for all Prints and Works on Paper. Sizes in this category are A2 (16.53 x 23.3 inches or 42 x 59.4 cm), or smaller. Depending on the size of your purchase and where you live, your artwork or print will be carefully wrapped and shipped either flat in a rigid mailer or rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube.
International Medium Parcel $75:
1)This shipping option is for smaller sized stretched canvases that measure 12” x 16” (35.56 x 27.94 cm) or below. Artworks will be carefully packaged and shipped to you in a sturdy box.
2)The category also covers canvas works larger than 20” x 30” (50.8cm x 76.2cm) up to and including 36” x 48” (91.44 x 121 x 92 cm) that will be removed from the stretcher bars and sent rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube.
InternationalLarge Parcel $95: This shipping option is for larger stretched canvases that measure from 16” x 20” (40.64 x 50.8 cm) up to and including those at 20” x 30” (50.8cm x 76.2cm). Artworks will carefully be packaged and shipped to you in a sturdy box.
Extra Large Parcel $120: This shipping option is for canvases too large to ship in a box overseas. Any Canvas that is larger than 20” x 30” 50.8cm x 76.2cm) and up to 48” x 60"falls into this shipping category. We will carefully remove the canvas from the stretcher bars and roll the canvas to ship to you in a sturdy PVC pipe.
Any dimensions outside of those mentioned here will be quoted on a case by case basis.
INSURANCE
Please note that due to laws imposed by President Trump, we are unable to provide insurance for parcels travelling from Australia to the US. We do ship All parcels express, which is s superior and very reliable service. Please know that we have had very few problems over the years and feel very confident that your parcel will arrive safely.
For Australia and other international destinations, please note that insurance is not routinely included in the cost of shipping that you will pay at the checkout. If you would like you item to be insured, please email us and let us know and we will arrange this (if it is possible in the country you live) and the cost in a separate invoice. In the case of commissions and very large or expensive paintings, we will insist that your painting be insured and will send an additional invoice to cover this if necessary.
RESPONSIBILITY OF CORRECT ADDRESS
We triple-check all our parcels to make sure that they have the correct address and labelling that you supply us. Please know that we can’t be responsible for parcels that are lost or unattainable due to an incorrectly supplied address.

Please note, I am not responsible for any customs or duty fees associated with shipping to your country.
DISPUTES
We do our utmost to make sure that your art arrives safely. If, on the off-chance you there are difficulties relating to your order, please do know that we will do our very best to resolve it for you where it is in our power to do so. Please remember to be kind, we are doing our best and there are limits to what we are able to do when it comes to postal services.
