Botanical Nuance IV

Botanical Nuance IV is 75.8 x 75.8 cm and is painted in my signature Botanical Abstract style. These paintings capture the calm and meditative energy that that went into their creation. Inspired by the structural botanicals found in Australia, this unique stylised rendition of these incredible plants is one of my most complexly layered styles.

It is created by the building a richly textured background and then an off-white overpainting that 'carves out' they simplified shapes of the botanicals. This overpainting is etched with more botanical shapes. Then final details in paint marker.

This mixed media is created with the finest quality acrylic paint and paint marker. It is varnished, painted continuously around the sides and ready to hang. It is signed on the front.
