‘Minimal Blue IX’ ( 30 x 40 inches or 76 x 102 cm) is an original watercolour and mixed-media painting on stretched canvas.

As spring started to bloom after the very long winter of 2020, this series of watercolours with a minimal blue palette, emerged in my sketchbooks that I then expanded into a full series. It was such joy to work away on these very detailed paintings out on the verandah, while enjoying the first flush of spring blooms! Featuring gorgeous detailed botanical line work in both ink and acrylic paint, this graceful painting is an elegant and calming compliment to any room.

This mixed media painting is on canvas and has been created with the finest quality watercolour paint and mixed media. It is ready to be hung as is or framed by your framer. Please note that if it is shipping outside of Australia, it will be removed from the stretcher bars and sent rolled in a sturdy tube where it can be easier re-stretched by your framer.
